During Monday’s episode of the “Draymond Green Podcast,” he said Curry is doing his best to get back on the court as soon as possible.
Green said, “What I will tell you is that I don’t think Steph is being shut down for the season. I know Steph is doing everything he can to get back. I know he’s making good progress on the court.”
“And I know he’s very eager to get back out there. And what I can assure you is whether it’s 1 regular-season game, or 5 regular-season games. Steph wants to play. And he’s going to do everything he can, he’s doing everything he can and things are going really good.”
Stephen Curry He is struggling with injury problems this season. He is currently out due to runner’s knee. He has played in 39 games this season, averaging 31.3 minutes on the floor.
This season, the 12-time NBA All-Star is averaging 27.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game on 46.8% shooting.
The Golden State Warriors (36-39) are 10th in the extremely competitive Western Conference standings. But they managed to secure a spot in the play-in tournament despite injuries to both Curry and Jimmy Butler.
