Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl at the end of the 2021 season. He has been working tirelessly since then to return to the pinnacle of the game. Still, as the Rams well know, achieving that kind of success isn’t easy.
We saw Los Angeles add a new starting cornerback by giving the Chiefs a first-round pick for Trent McDuffie. Still, the Rams have done nothing to enhance an offense that ranked first in scoring in 2025. This could change during the 2026 NFL Draft, if not before.
Recently, NFL insider Tony Pauline of EssentialSports speculated that the Rams could be one of the teams that comes back in an AJ Brown trade. Poulin believes Los Angeles’ offer of the 13th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft could be enough to get a deal done.

However, Rams fans hoping for a quick solution may have to hold their breath for a while, as Pauline believes the Eagles are more likely to execute a trade on draft day, just like they did when they got Brown from Tennessee.
Of course, there’s no guarantee the Eagles are even willing to trade the three-time Pro Bowl receiver. Still, there are several rumors that the 28-year-old could be on the trade block. Still, we have a hard time imagining the Eagles trading their best receiver without a ready-made replacement in mind, which is why a draft day trade could lead to a better offer depending on which receivers are available.
