
Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen will miss the March international break with Denmark due to injury.
The 23-year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge from Villarreal in July 2024, a year after Robert Sanchez joined Chelsea.
He is behind the Spaniard in the pecking order and has played 34 matches, keeping 11 clean sheets and conceding 38 goals.
The Denmark international has one clean sheet and has conceded 16 goals in 10 matches this season.
He made his first league appearance under Liam Rosenior in the Blues’ 4–1 win over Aston Villa on 5 March. A week later, Jorgensen started in a 5–2 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
However, he missed the west London club’s 1–0 defeat to Newcastle United at the weekend due to injury. On Monday, Rosenior confirmed he would undergo a scan to determine the extent of the damage.
