Analysis: Beindir and Manchester United
Bayandir started the season as Manchester United’s number 1, following Andre Onana’s poor form during the previous campaign. However, since Lammens’s arrival from Royal Antwerp he had hardly been involved.
The goalkeeper hasn’t had any minutes since September, and didn’t even get a chance as the Red Devils played in the EFL Cup and FA Cup. The club was eliminated from both in the first round itself.
No European football has helped either, with only the Premier League remaining.
Contract status, price and agent
The Turkish stopper is contracted with the Premier League club until June 2027, but Manchester United has an option for a further year.
Transfermarkt has it at €7m, down from a high of €15m due in 2022. In Türkiye, it is believed he will move for around €5m.
Bayindir is represented by the agent’s sole client Sefa Cyrek.
